Hamilton Self Storage has been operating dry and secure self storage units in Hamilton for over 20 years. We don’t try to compete with the Storage Kings, National or the Crown business’s, as we are committed to helping you get the best out of your self storage experience.
The Self Storage Hamilton business is not subject to Shareholders demands and profits. Often this means you will not be offered a cheap deal for a few months then the price will increased to satisfy the shareholders requirements. This is not illegal, but unfair to customers.
We pride ourselves of keeping your storage experience simple and we will never sell your personal information to any other identity.
Hamilton Self Storage the AAA1 storage covers Auckland, Hamilton, Waikato Hospital ( 10 mins drive), University of Waikato (15 mins drive), Riverlea, Melville, Hillcrest, Glenview, Dinsdale, Tamahere, Rukuhia, Ohaupo, Hamilton Airport, Hamilton City, Cambridge and Te Awamutu areas, offering dry, rodent free storage units and containers. We are sometimes called Storage Hamilton.
Specializing in all your storage needs from small spaces to large storage units for household lots, workshop tools, furniture, documents, car parking (both under cover and in our large secure yard), trailers, boats, people movers, motor homes, caravans, motorcycles, motor bike’s etc.
RETIREMENT and LIFESTYLE VILLAGES:
We are presently storing treasures for some elderly residents of the Alandale Lifestyle Village, Linda Jones Retirement Village and Summerset down the Lane. Hamilton Self Storage welcomes short term storage at a reasonable price. If you have it, we can store it for you.
Charging is on a monthly basis as this is more cost effect for you, the customer. Customers can negotiate weekly terms if required.

Hamilton Self Storage is a member of the Self Storage Association of Australasia (SSAA). Self Storage Association members use the industry standard storage agreements which ensure you, as the storer, and Hamilton Self Storage receive the best legal protection. The Association also has a code of ethics that all members must abide by.

HISTORY
The Hamilton Self Storage building at 3328 Ohaupo Road in Rukuhia started its life during WW2 and the dismantling of fighter aircraft was carried out after the war (see below for images and more information).
Other businesses that have operated from the building are a Petrol Station, an Engineering business and finally Rental Cars before being professionally fitted out into Self Storage Units. As the business grew, Container Storage was added giving our customers a wider selection of cost effective Self Storage facilities. In 2017 15 more units were added to the existing building. These were filled rapidly so we are waiting for another large unit to become available so more units can be added. The business just keeps growing.
